TRICHLOROACETIC ACID (TCA) CHEMICAL PEEL
This treatment uses chemical properties of trichloroacetic acid, which causes, depending on its concentration and number of layers applied, that the skin surface falls off in the form of surface to medium-deep peeling. During the next days, gradual desquamation effect follows, while the most intensive desquamation occurs on the third day after the procedure. TCA chemical peeling is used to solve acne and oily skin problems, reduce enlarged pores, acne scars, smooth out fine wrinkles, rejuvenate the aging skin or skin damaged by solar radiation and remove hyperpigmentations. When compared to chemical peeling with AHA acids, the TCA peeling is more intensive and deeper, which also ensures a better therapeutic result, conditioned by more intensive healing. An added value of this procedure is its price, which affordable for the clients with respect to the excellent result. The treatment is performed during autumn or winter months.
BASIC INFORMATION:
- The procedure is non-invasive and requires no prior preparation.
- Treatments are performed in 14-day intervals, while one cure consists of 4 applications.
- Minor redness will disappear within 1-2 hours after the application, with gradual skin desquamation, which is most intensive on the 3rd day, depending on the treatment intensity.
- The procedure can be performed during the non-sunny period; SPF 50+ photoprotection is recommended after the procedure.
