ENZYME THERAPY – REMOVAL OF FAT CUSHIONS, SLACK SKIN, SCARS AND STRETCH MARKS, CELLULITE
Enzyme therapy is a modern method that injects local enzymes such as lipase, collagenase, hyaluronidase and lyase into the skin and subcutaneous tissue to reduce localized fat, collagen remodelling and swelling reduction. These applied recombinant enzymes of non – animal origin, are stored by lyophilisation without the addition of preservatives, which ensures a low risk of allergic reaction. Every enzyme only works on a certain component without negatively affecting the other structures. Lipase degrades triglycerides from adipocyte fat cells, reduces their volume without them damaging, thereby reducing the risk of inflammation and pain. Collagenase breaks down non-functional, possibly accumulated pathological collagen, which leads to the formation of a functional collagen, the firming of sagging skin and reduction of scars. Hyaluronidase and lyase break down polysaccharides, which cause increased fluid retention in a certain area. Enzyme cocktails contain various combinations of these 4 enzymes depending on the problem waiting to be solved. They are injected by several small punctures into the area of fat pads on the abdomen, hips, legs, scars – atrophic, hypertrophic and keloid, into stretch marks, to strengthen sagging skin on the shoulders, thighs, and to the areas affected by cellulite This procedure must be completed 2-5 times with an interval of about 2-3 weeks, with gradual reduction after each session of fat in the area, strengthening of the body contours, reduction of cellulite, and improvement of the structure of scars and stretch marks.
BASIC INFORMATION:
-
- The procedure is minimally painful. The enzyme solution is wither injected several times with a thin needle into the relevant area, which is cooled with ice before the procedure, or an anaesthetic cream is applied before the procedure, iow. we add an enzyme anaesthetic solution to the cocktail.
- The slight redness and swelling caused by the injections disappear a few hours after the procedure. It may rarely last 1-2 days. At the site of application, bruising may form, which is absorbed within a few days during treatment in larger areas. The patient may also have a slight fluctuating fever.
- The effect of injectable enzyme therapy in the case of fat reduction is achieved by the summing up each completed procedure. It is also influenced by a healthy lifestyle.
- After the procedure, it is recommended to massage the given area for a couple of days to support the lymphatic drainage, as well as drink enough water, limit the intake of sugars and fats, reduce physical activity to 48 hours, avoid visits to the sauna and swimming pools, and avoid the exposure of the site of application of the UV radiation.
- The procedure is performed all year round.
